Located in St-Félix-de-Valois, 45 minutes away from Montréal, PEL International was founded in 1994 by Roger, Patrice and Gino Pelletier. The company manufactures rocking, swiveling and reclining chairs mounted on ball bearings, a new concept at the time.

PEL maintains a close relationship with furniture manufacturer Elran, with which it shares its upholstery. This arrangement allows customers to match Elran products with PEL gliding chairs using the same fabric and leather upholstery.

A proud market leader of the industry, PEL operates its own manufacturing plants, building and assembling metal framing and cushioning on location.

In the summer of 2018, PEL was acquired by Martin Potvin, an entrepreneur with a long track-record in the furniture industry. His experience, versatility as well as his bold, innovative ideas provide PEL with growth and sustainability.
